More Regular Show BGs

These layouts are from the same episode that I drew the car interiors for. Interesting thing about these, is that most are used really for reference and reproduction for the animators over seas. Well at least the BG below here, and the one down at the bottom. The above was a static shot I believe, as is the third one down.

 Hope me sharing these Regular Show BGs is interesting. I'm actually under a pretty gnarly work deadline right now, and don't have much free time to do more then share some older work for now.

 I'll drop the last 3 layouts for this episode tomorrow. And truth be told, will most likely just continue to roll out the remainder of what I have to share from my work on Regular Show while I'm at it.

Humbled by Car Interiors (More Regular Show BG's)

   I had a lengthy little thought all about humility and hard work I was going to write up for this post, but upon talking through my idea with my wife today, I stumbled upon a better message I think I might share later this week.
  The gist behind my thoughts on humility and hard work and why these car interiors related is simply boiled down to this: These two layouts were probably the hardest two for me to grasp since pitching in duties working with the wonderful folks over at CN. I could go on and on about the process from the boards I worked from to the numerous revisions I received before finally getting things nailed down correctly. I learned a lot. In fact it's safe to say I learned more getting things wrong as apposed to the BGs I received minor revisions on. It's easy to let failure grow into something worse in your head.
  The best thing to do is just swallow it, work hard, learn, and grow.

Regular Show

 So probably the coolest bit of news I've yet to share til now is that for the past year I've been freelancing doing backgrounds for Regular Show over at Cartoon Network.

 The first episode I worked on, is titled "Laundry Woes". It aired this past September, which I believe kicked off the shows 5th season. These are a few of the backgrounds I did for that episode.

 It's been a really great opportunity for me, and I really enjoy the great folks on that show I get the privilege to work with.

 The next episode I worked on airs this Thanksgiving. In addition to contributing to that episode, there are a few others that air early 2014 (I believe).
